Lung (Malignant) Tumour (Maria Luisa Oreja)

My Mother’s Cure – Malignant Lung Tumor

(This cure was recounted in the January-February 2005 edition of GARABANDAL JOURNAL by the woman who was cured. This testimony of her daughter adds some details not mentioned by the mother.)

In 1972 or 1973, my mother was diagnosed with uterine cancer. She had a hysterectomy performed at Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital in Los Angeles, California, and the doctor recommended periodic follow-ups with chest and abdomen x-rays.

Things went well for about a year until on one of her visits they found a spot on her lung. A return visit for a second x-ray confirmed it. This x-ray was sent to the doctor who had operated on her, and his diagnosis agreed with the hospital’s: a malignant tumor in the lung. They told this to me and not my mother since she was very depressed. I told her that they found something in her lungs and it was not clear what it was and that she had to follow the prescribed treatment. She started wearing a Garabandal medal praying that it was not malignant. The treatment was one month of chemotherapy and an injection every week for a total of four injections.

A follow-up chest x-ray at the beginning of 1974 showed that the spot that had been visible in the other xrays had disappeared. The treatment with chemotherapy was discontinued, and she remained in excellent health.

One day while she was wearing the Garabandal medal, she smelled a fragrance of roses that originated from it. I smelled it too — it lasted one or two minutes — and this fragrance stayed on our hands after we had touched the medal.

My mother died in 1990, sixteen years after all this. She was born in Havana July 13, 1914, and was 59 or 60 years old when she was healed.
